Differential Nissan maxima

In order to buy the correct part # for CV axle the vendors/ catalog requires to know if the vehicle is equipped with slip differential. Other terms for the same are VLSD, LSD, limited slip differential etc. I want to know how to make sure if this feature is provided. Thanks a lot for the help

Raise both drive wheels off the ground. With vehicle in neutral block one of the wheels and attempt to turn the other. if limited slip you won't be able to turn the wheel. If not the wheel will turn freely.

Very few posi differentials in front wheel drive cars.... Was it an option that year ?? Then I'd say no, it isn't.

It's a non-locking differential, the option would be with or without Traction Control(Traction Control is done thru your Brake, it work in junction with you ABS system)
